Christine Schmitz Koch

Client Relations Manager

After a lengthy career in human resource management and college administration, Chris joined Wealth Management Group in 2005 with only a year of financial services experience in a wirehouse setting.  She was drawn to the Firm’s “low volume, high touch” approach to client service, the antithesis of the high-stress, sales-driven environment she had previously experienced.  Chris earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology/Philosophy minor from St. John Fisher College, did graduate work at Adelphi University on Long Island, and holds Series 6 and 63 securities licenses.  She enjoys the intricacy of financial services operations, but she gains the most satisfaction from frequent interaction with our wonderful clients.  Wealth Management Group embraces a vision of excellence in client service at all levels.  Chris endeavors to elevate the overall client experience by responding enthusiastically, efficiently and effectively to all client service requests.

In nearly 12 years working on the WMG Team, she has witnessed a sincere commitment to the highest ethical standards, and cutting edge investment advice resulting in the preservation and growth of client wealth.  More importantly, she believes in the Firm’s holistic planning approach that encourages clients to identify and live their ideal life, celebrate their success, and fulfill their dreams and those of their families.

Chris is a self-proclaimed homebody.  Her children, Cassandra, Matthew and Gayle, are grown now.  Cassie’s in Chicago, and Matt recently moved to Colorado.  Gayle remains local (for the moment).  Chris has a large extended family, and they are the major part of her social circle.  Her personal interests include history, social science, literature, movies, music, art, opera, cooking, antiques and current events.  She’s looking forward to travelling once she retires (not long)!
